Clear. Professional. Straightforward. That’s the way we work. With this approach, you know where you are at all times. So, how does a project happen? See the steps below:

Getting started

The first step to creating your amazing new space is to call or email us. Our surveyor will come to your home to discuss your project and look at your loft. They’ll then advise you on the best use of your space and the relevant planning and building regulations. We’ll then send you a full written quotation within five working days. If you’re happy with the quote and build recommendations – in every way – you can sign it off. At this point we’ll take a deposit.

Your project manager

Before we start, you’ll have a meeting with your dedicated project manager. Then it’s time for your materials to be delivered and your scaffolding erected. Here comes the exciting part!

Careful planning

Our architectural designer will then visit and carry out a full loft survey. This will include measurements so that plans can be drawn up. Next, we send you a copy of the plans and make sure you are 100% happy with them before they are sent to Building Control. We’re almost good to go – but there’s one more thing. Before work begins, you will need to serve party wall notices to your neighbour. Need a party wall surveyor? We’ll have one with you asap.

Time to build

Your project manager will be there at your side every day. They’ll be your first point of contact, giving you the benefit of their extensive expertise. We typically quote 8-12 weeks to complete your project. If that sounds like a lot, it’s because we want to get it right. Plus, there may be decisions you may need to make during the process.

It’s done!

That’s it – your loft or extension is complete! You’ll then receive a 10-year guarantee for the works and your completion certificate from Building Control. All that’s left to do is decide how best to use your bright and airy new space!
